DONE DEAL: Chelsea announce latest transfer deal

Chelsea midfielder Oriol Romeu has joined Bundelsiga side Stuttgart on a season-long loan, the club have confirmed.

Romeu, 22, impressed last season at Valencia on a similar deal, and while the defensive midfielder signed a new three-year deal to stay at Chelsea in July, he will spend the 2014/15 season in Germany in order to continue his development.

With Jose Mourinho signing Cesc Fabregas this summer from Barcelona to bulk up his midfield, Romeu (who also arrived at the club from the Nou Camp, back in 2011), has found himself still down the pecking order at the club, and has decided to move to the Mercedes-Benz Arena for the new season.

  1. For me it is really a gud move 4 Romeo 2 develop his skills & 2 improve his style of playing, am very sure with no doubt is going 2 do well in Germany.

  2. mou pls u can get rid of Ramires for pogba since Juventus are owing us 10 tov15 mil;and we have 30 to 35 mil in our account from the sale of lukaku which will sum up to 40-50 mil and by selling Ramires or Mikel we can get the best youngest player and let us not hope by next because it woundnt be yours.
pls let this be done; we can equal add khidra is a powerful guy and that will take us to completion.
