I don't believe Chelsea will not buy anyone in January. It's almost blasphemy.

Brilliant article, agree with everything. In buying Ballack and Sheva they were going for the best at the cost of effectiveness and shape. Morinho has 2 ddefensive mids and 2 attacking mids and even is joe cole and robben were fit, they wouldnt play. You can say the need time to adapt like essien and drogba, but they arnt 20 somethings with bright futures, they are 30 year olds with reputations that will only get them so far. Old dogs rarely learn new tricks and i think those 2 buys have left the Chelsea philosophy exposed. And the fucker Kenyon talking about Chelsea being bigger than Arsenal Liverpool and Man Utd. Two seasons doesnt prove shit and the fact that he had to pay 16 million for Mikel and 25 million for SWP proves he sucks at his job, not to mention he screwed up deals for dinho kezman robben and crespo for man utd. And yes i am a pissed off United supporter.

Why mention Villa or Torres? None have played in the Premiership and who says they won't suffer the same as shevchenko? But, I do agree with your comments about Kalou and Mikel. I think Mourinho should not have commented on either of their form. He bought both of these for the future and knew he was getting a couple of rough diamonds who must be given time to shine.
