Well, well, well. Are we going to see another twist in the tale?

Diego Costa has been Chelsea’s first choice transfer target this summer, and if the reports are to believed, both from English & Spanish media, the Brazilian born striker has already signed for the Blues.

Early this month The Telegraph reported that Chelsea are close to agreeing deals for Atletico Madrid duo – Filipe Luis and Diego Costa. The talks have gone smoothly with both parties and both moves have been agreed.

And only yesterday, Sky Sports reported that Chelsea have agreed a £32m deal for Diego Costa, with the striker poised to complete his long awaited move in the summer.

Costa has had a phenomenal season for the Rojiblancos where he scored 27 goals in La Liga, and could end the season with both La Liga & Champions League medal as well.

The 25-year-old would be a perfect fit for the Blues, as Jose Mourinho is looking to add a deadly finisher to his squad.

It now it has been all from club’s PR departments. But what the player is saying actually? In a recent interview with Spanish radio station La Sexta, where he was asked to comment on his possible move to Chelsea, he said:

“Yes? People say a lot of nonsense.”

Well, we don’t know whether it was a ploy from him to shy away from media attention, especially when he is still a player of Atletico Madrid. Or could it happen like it is all but a false rumour as Mundo Deportivo today ran a story in which they claim Atleti have blatantly denied that a transfer has been agreed.
