David Moyes Crisis: Angry fans plan stunning banner display at Old Trafford

The situation regarding David Moyes at Manchester United is set to plummet to new depths, or rather heights, with angry fans set to send a plane carrying a huge ‘Moyes Out’ banner over Old Trafford at the next home game against Aston Villa.

The Chosen One

The banner, which will read ‘The Wrong One – Moyes Out’, is in response to the existing message within the ground, ‘The Chosen One’, which was in danger of being ripped down in the 3-0 derby loss to Manchester City on Tuesday.

United have endured their worst ever campaign of the Premier League era in what is David Moyes’ first season in the hot-seat, and any remaining support he had from the fans seems to have evaporated with the defeat to their bitter rivals.

One fan appeared to be heading towards the Scot, his fist raised, when intercepted by a steward during the humiliating loss, while a torrent of abuse rained down upon the United hierarchy, including some directed at former manager and club legend Sir Alex Ferguson regarding his involvement in appointing Moyes in the summer.

The Guardian have reported that nearly £1000 has been raised through the ‘Red Issue’ website to send the aforementioned banner over the stadium this weekend, but they have denied any hand in concocting the plan.

Regardless of the source, if the aerial protest does go ahead as expected, it will mark the first standout effort made by  fans to have their beleaguered manager removed from his post.

  1. I hope is good idea to manchester utd support to do everything to use a power to sack moyes the write way is to sack d moyes every mutch utd fans was real on tension no confindes usless co

  2. I have many reservations about Moyes and, on balance, think he should go. But by publicly dividing ourselves we descend to the depths of City and Chelsea fans. We will only give ammunition to those who are relishing in our demise. Whilst he is our manager we need to get behind him. If things continue to go wrong he will go anyway and then we get behind the new person. We are United and must maintain our high standards.

  3. i think dat is nt d rit tin 2do bt d board shld respect d fans n sack Moyes. His comments after d lost to city shows he is nt d rit man 4d job. Saying city av set standard n we united aspired 2b like city shows hw foolish Moyes ws. United shld sack him b4 we re humiliated next wk. Every players re stil supporting him cos of Ferguson who dey played under. Everybody knew he is nt d right person 4 job.

  4. I don’t think he is the right man, Despite the fact the was a good coach for everton, I feel he is putting on a shoe that is not his size which makes him not to walk well with good legs

  5. Most must go now .His is not tactical and doesn’t know when and who to substitute .We need someone with credentials like Dortimund coach at Old traford
