the darlington chairman was George Houghton not John Hughton, and the Darlington full back was Ryan Valentine not David Valentine.
And the biggest barrier to good managers is not to do with the players, but the managers attitude to players. unless the player was in the first 16 selected he really couldn’t of given a flying fook about the rest of the squad, and that really will be any managers ultimate downfall, because a few upset players can disturb the rest of the squad unrepairably and he lost the dressing room at a couple of clubs purely because he couldn’t give a fook about some players.

IMO the biggest barrier to good managers making the grade in the Premier League is respect from their players – which says a lot about players today…
