Negotiation ongoing, agent keen to seal deal for Manchester United defensive target

Spanish newspaper Sport claims that Barcelona defender Dani Alves’ agent Dinorah Santa Ana, has been on a trip to Paris recently to negotiate a deal with the French champions PSG for the Brazilian defender.

The report claims that Alves’ representatives to try to finalise the transfer, which is already reported to be in an advanced stage, during her trip to Paris.

Alves has grown fed up waiting for a fresh offer from Barcelona, and Santa Ana being aware of interests from several European giants, has decided to push through the transfer at the earliest.

Sport claims that Alves has a verbal agreement with PSG and is free to negotiate a deal with any club, as his contract runs out in summer.

Goal however has claimed earlier today that Alves is hoping to sign a new deal with Barcelona, though there could be a potential disagreement over the length of the new deal.

Recently Sport claimed that Premier League duo Manchester United and Liverpool are also interested in signing the Barcelona defender. In that case, the Premier League giants  need to hurry up now, if there is at all any genuine interest!
