I agree with stallone. It was dumb of both Cesc and Adebayor to say all that. But if they are using this match to rally their fellow troops, no one can blame them, because they endured a tough month prior to the match.

now i’m not a soccer fan, but last night’s fener game was something i will remember. what a TOTAL nailbiter, what a complete thrill the penalty shootout was. i mean WOW. i’ll be tuning in to see how far the turks can go!

I AM NOT SAYING THAT ALL UNITED FANS THINK THAT WAY BUT IF U (FAIZAN) THINK THAT UNITED PLAYERS HAVE THE RIGHT TO SAY WHAT THEY WANT ABOUT THEIR AMBITION AND IS COOL THEN IT STANDS TO REASON THAT ALL OTHER PLAYERS FROM OTHER TEAMS CAN DO THE SAME AND THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO, EVEN IF THEY ARE PLAYERS OF DERBY COUNTY. MIND U LIKE ARSENAL, MAN UNITED HAVE NOT WON ANYTHING YET THIS SEASON, SO IF ADEBAYO AND FABREGAS AMBITIOUS UTTERANCES IS ARROGANCE, THEN THE SAME SHOULD GO FOR RONALDO AND ANY OTHER PLAYER OF THE PREMIER LEAGUE WHO COMES OUT TO SPEAK AS IF A PARTICULAR TEAM PER SE HAVE THE ASSURANCE OF WINNING ANYTHING BEFORE A BALL IS EVEN KICKED.
AT THE MOMENT, I SUGGEST THAT ALL THE PLAYERS OF THE SO-CALLED TOP 4 SHOULD SHUT UP AND ALLOW THEIR FOOTBALL DO THE TALKING. IF THERE IS ANY TEAM WHOSE PLAYERS CAN SAY ANYTHING AT THE MOMENT, ITS SPURS COS THEY ARE THE ONLY TEAM TO HAVE WON SOMETHIN THIS SEASON SO FAR. SO UNTIL ALL COMPETITIONS ARE DECIDED BY THE END OF THE CURRENT SEASON, NO BODY IS GUARANTEED ANYTHING YET JUST BECAUSE THEY ARE RANTING ABOUT IT. THIS INCLUDES BOTH MAN UNITED AND ARSENAL PLAYERS AND THEIR FANS.

Adebayor is now saying they can beat anyone…fabregas said there is no reason why they can’t do the double.
Either arsenal players are extremely arrogant or they have very short-term memories.
Manchester United thumped them only two weeks ago and they can’t even beat Birmingham and Aston Villa. Yes they have beaten AC Milan but that is no reason to become over-confident

Ahmed you disappoint me mate. Arsenal produced one of the greatest performances and results of the entire season and you find it impossible to remove your United hat to recognize it. Instead you make some sly comment about how you thought Lyon would be trashed lke Arsenal. I bet all the people who were queueing up to see Arsenal fall flat on there face are absolutely gutted after last nights result.
