What is it about Manchester United number 7’s and the urge to own a fashion empire? And we don’t mean Eric Cantona! Cristiano Ronaldo’s second CR7 shop has opened in Lisbon selling everything you need to make your own identikit smart-casual Ronaldo.

The question is: who will buy his stock? The CR7 largely consists of manbags, studded belts, jeans with leather pockets and patent buckled loafers - all emblazoned with the obligatory CR7 logo in gold. The gear is aimed at wannabe Ronaldo’s who would probably be more interested in designer clothing than something a footballer has put together! So that pretty much limits his customers to stalkers and collectors.
