Uruguay probably will miss the services of Barcelona striker Luis Suarez, who is currently banned from international football, following the biting incident during the 2014 World Cup, where he appeared to bite Italy defender Giorgio Chiellini.

Although Uruguay football federations are still hopeful that Suarez could play a part, but president Wilmar Valdez admitted that it will be anything but a miracle, if FIFA grant the former Liverpool striker permission to play.

Copa America 2015: Three Key Group Stage Matches

18 group matches will be played in over just 10 days, so it makes harder to watch every game. We take a look here three top fixture that are absolutely unmissable.

Brazil vs Colombia: June 17

Colombia stunned everyone in the World Cup by offering us a flair and attractive brand of football. However, their quarter-final date with Brazil didn’t live up to the expectations. Jose Pekerman will have another chance to show how far Colombia have evolved under his reign, and that’s why the Cafeteros’ clash with Brazil, who have remained unbeaten since Dunga retuned as coach, is not only a mouth-watering fixture but at the same time holds paramount importance for both teams.

There will be no shortage of superstars on pitch, as Barcelona’s Neymar will go head-to-head with Real Madrid’s James Rodriguez once again.

Argentina vs Uruguay: June 16

This fixture undoubtedly will be one of the highlights of the Copa America 2015 edition, whether Luis Suarez takes part or not.

It will be a tough ask for veteran Oscar Tabarez to cope without the Barcelona forward, but he will be counting on Edinson Cavani and others to step up against Gerardo Martino’s team.

It also represents another opportunity for Lionel Messi to earn glory for his nation, having lost out to Germany in the World Cup finals.

Chile vs Mexico: June 15

Chile and Mexico played some delightful football in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but both suffered heart-breaking exits in the round of 16. Mauricio Pinilla’s thundering shot nearly sent Jorge Sampaoli’s men through against Brazil, while how Arjen Robben inspired Holland broke Mexican resilience is still fresh in our memory.

Chile will enjoy the home advantage but Mexico have their own aces up their sleeves. Carlos Vela was quick to stamp his mark after ending his international exile recently, by netting twice against Holland.
