Conte wants Nainggolan as first Chelsea signing, wants Cuadrado to stay

Incoming Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has informed the club that he wants to sign Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan.

According to Guardian, Conte is also keen to work with the Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado and has asked Chelsea not to accept an offer from Juventus.

The former Fiorentina winger has impressed with Juventus and the Italian champions are keen to acquire his services permanently.

Conte wanted to sign Cuadrado during his time at Juventus and is willing to give him a second chance in the Premier League.

The report from Guardian also confirms that the Italian is out of contract this summer and has agreed to replace Guus Hiddink. According to rumours, Conte will earn around 15 million pounds during his time at Chelsea.

The Dutchman took over as the interim manager after the sacking of Jose Mourinho towards the end of 2015.

Antonio Conte has realised that the Chelsea midfield is need of a tenacious central midfielder and wants to sign the highly rated Roma star, Radja Nainggolan.

The 27-year-old midfielder has been sensational for the Italian outfit over the last couple of seasons and is being monitored by several European clubs.

Chelsea have the means to land the Belgian, even though they cannot offer Champions League football. Furthermore, Conte is very highly thought of in Italy and the player might be drawn towards the chance of working with the manager.
