I'd like to see some sort of goal-line technology, or at least a referee right there in the goal area to make sure there aren't any mistakes like there was in the Watford-Reading match recently.

Mistakes are likely going to happen no matter what, but having extra eyes (real or electronic) around the pitch can only help.

I think 2 more cameras may not be enough. Sometimes video evidence may not show conclusively whether the ball has crossed the line. The current trend in other sports is to go with Hawk-Eye tracking technology. And that uses a lot of cameras to be accurate.
BTW I am all for goal line tech. According to the Hawk-Eye website, they can model the path of the ball to an error of 5% of the diameter of a ball. The diameter of a football is about 22cm, so we are talking about 1cm accuracy. That is pretty good.
