City bring in Zabaleta and Glauber, is Corluka off to Spurs?

Manchester City have completed the signings of 23-year-old Argentine international Pablo Zabaleta from Espanyol on a 5-year deal (roughly £6.5m) and 25-year-old Brazilian defender Glauber Berti from FC Nuremburg on a one year deal.

This takes City’s signings for the summer to 6 as Zabaleta and Berti join Shaun Wright-Phillips, Jo, Ben Haim and Vincent Kompany.

Although Hughes insisted yesterday that Zabaleta wasn’t a replacement for Tottenham target Vedran Corluka, there is a chance now that with City stocking up on defenders that Corluka will be allowed to move if the player is pushing for it and if Tottenham come in with a really good offer.

Just a day to go, watch this space.

Corluka to sign tomorrow according to Spurs Legend Graham Roberts. He’s never wrong.

Also expect 2 other major signings. Thought to be Arshavin and either Diarra or Veloso.

And Pareja. Arshavin looks likely again as reports in Russia say his agent has claimed Spurs have matched Zenits asking price.
