Chelsea midfielder Nemanja Matic is reportedly frustrated after a poor season and wants to leave Stamford Bridge this summer.

The Premier League giants are already looking at replacements for the Serbian and Leicester City’s Kante is thought to be a priority target for Antonio Conte.

Recently it was reported that Chelsea are in advanced talks to sign N’Golo Kante from Leicester City. Now there are reports that Chelsea have offered to treble the player’s wages of 35,000 pounds a week in order to fend off competition from Arsenal and Paris Saint-Germain.

The French midfielder was Ranieri’s most important player last season and had a remarkable season as he helped the Foxes to Premier League glory. Kante is one of the best defensive midfielders in England and perhaps second only to Manchester City’s Fernandinho.

The former Caen midfielder would be a tremendous addition to any side in the Premier League right now and it will be interesting to see if he chooses to stay in England next season.

There is no doubt that PSG can easily match Chelsea’s offer financially and then it might come down to his desire to return to France or not.
