Chelsea in pole position to sign €30m forward

Pedro is tired of speculations and wants Man United move within 72 hours

Barcelona boss Luis Enrique has expressed his desire to keep Pedro Rodriguez in the side, but at the same time, he has also maintained that the Spain forward will be allowed to leave, if he wants out.

Enrique: “I want him to stay, but I can’t promise (anyone) minutes. He has a clause though so he can decide to leave (if someone pays it).”

Pedro’s release clause has dropped from €150m to €30m only, as a result top Premier League clubs can now make a move for him. Arsenal and Liverpool were thought to be interested in signing him, but in the last few weeks Chelsea have shown a serious interest in getting his signature.

Jose Mourinho has personally kept in touch with Pedro over phone, and he has promised him enough game time. According to reports from Catalan newspaper Sport, Chelsea are in pole position at the moment to sign Pedro.

Chelsea have an avalanche of attacking midfielders / forward in their ranks, but it seems that Mourinho wants to sign another forward this season.
