Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha....first battle in the title war.....The champions league matches have NO bearing on the title clash at all!!...It should be noted that United's traditional early season blip is only occuring in the champion's league so don't be suprised if Mourniho loses..contrary to popular opinion......

"Chelsea will play Werder Bremen knowing that they have an upper hand against United, and a win against Bremen will put them in as favourites going into the Sunday clash."

So because United lost to Celtic through an undeserved free kick (not saying they deserved to win, despite completing bossing the game, but there's no way they deserved to lose) Chelsea somehow have the upper hand on Sunday? Even a Chelsea win leaves them 2nd in the league.

Now Chelsea have lost to Bremen, are they still favourites?

I would have thought by now it was pretty clear we can't compare and judge teams by how they play in the Premiership compared with the Champions League. Did Arsenal scraping 4th place last day of the season, 24 points behind the winners, whilst reaching the CL final, not show us that? Or Liverpool finishing 5th in the league, 37 points behind the winners, whilst lifting the European Cup? Hmmm.
