Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas could be on his way out of Stamford Bridge soon if the latest rumours are to be believed.

According to the Italian media, Fabregas is a target for Serie A giants AC Milan.

The Spanish international has struggled to earn Antonio Conte’s trust so far and is not a regular starter at Chelsea anymore.

The midfielder’s failure to contribute defensively and his mediocre work rate have pushed him down the pecking orders.

Calcio Mercato Web are reporting that AC Milan want to sign a few big name players like Isco and Fabregas. Both players are believed to be unhappy with their situations at their respective clubs and Milan are ready to poach them away.

The report adds that Chelsea are already aware of Milan’s interest in Fabregas and Antonio Conte is willing to sanction a sale if his condition of a player plus cash deal is fulfilled.

The Blues have asked for a Milan player in exchange. Conte is well aware of his full back problems and wants to bring the Milan defender Mattia De Sciglio to Stamford Bridge. In addition to that, Conte is asking for a fee of €10m for Fabregas.

The Italian outlet also claims that AC Milan want to sign the Chelsea midfielder in January, but the Blues are not interested in loaning him out.

It remains to be seen if Milan are ready to accept Chelsea’s demand of a player and cash for the Spaniard.

Calcio Mercato Web believes that Chelsea and AC Milan are set to meet in the coming weeks and the Italians will try to reach an agreement. The Chelsea midfielder is a priority for Vincenzo Montella according to the report.

Fabregas has made just 5 appearances for the Blues this season and has scored twice.
