Not to put a damper on the mood (any further) for Fenerbahce...but there's nothing they can do about the mathematical calculation that determine advancement.

I think that this website underestimates Fenerbahce alot, specialy in the group G previews:

(Fenerbahce aren't going to trouble anyone in this group, despite the presence of Mateja Kezman and Roberto Carlos in their ranks. They have a shot at #3, but I doubt that CSKA or PSV would slip that badly.)
And they even predicted Fenerbahce will be last place....

But what did really happen? Fenerbahce has the second place with 4 score lead on PSV and with only 1 point behind Inter.
And Fenerbahce is still unbeaten in their group, with only 2 goals conceived total. And here it says that Fenerbahce will have a little change of wining vs moskva at OUR home, that i have problems beliving, specially if you look that Fenerbahce has won both their matches at home. (Fenerbahce aren't going to trouble anyone in this group, despite the presence of Mateja Kezman and Roberto Carlos in their ranks) That shows how little this website knows of Fenerbahce.

JohnST, the point is that Arsenal have ALREADY qualified. There are no ifs, buts or maybes about it. There is no question of "will qualify": it's already done and dusted. You guys seem to be missing the point. If you still don't get it go to this link: http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/europe/7084206.stm

Arsenal will qualify for sure. That performance against Slavia was from their Team B, if they unleash Team A, it will be a different story.

Andrei, Arsenal have already mathematically secured qualification.

The rules are, if two or more teams end up on the same points they are separated first of all by the results between them. Goal difference would only become relevant if the teams had drawn both games. As Arsenal took 4 points from their encounter with Slavia Prague and Slavia got only 1 point, Arsenal would go through even if they lost both remaining games and Slavia won both of theirs to end up on the same number of points as Arsenal.

Actuall Arsenal has not, mathematically, secured qualification. Though it is near impossible for them not to qualify as Slavia would need to overcome an -18 GD defficit and would require both Sevilla and Steaua to beat Arsenal, while they would win both of their remaining fixtures.
