To stay up u need a team which has a good consistent record in past (Wigan, reading) or avg performance with lots of money(westham) ... without both it will be same as mick's sunderland 2 years ago. A manager alone can hardly influence things, and life is EPL is not same as championship.here you are expected to loose agianst top 6 teams twice a season, which will be a blow to ur confidence. So charisma of a manager will have fewer effect. Its skills of the players that matter most. I dont think keano bought good, execept for gordon (rem he costs more than cheh), rest are simply joke.
