I dont know what all the fuss is about every player goes through a bad patch. When Ronaldo first came to England everyone just thought he was a show pony. Ronny will be out of it soon. He probbably wont be as great as he was but hell be back banging in goals.

Sub – genii is the plural of genius, not of genie/djinni/jinn. And in the context, a leg of genii sounds a little off, sorry to say so.

Otherwise, the article was a great read. Based on my personal observations, the fans are a lot more willing to defend Ronaldinho than you make out. Sure, there are a few who would be up for frog-marching him to the train station – given the Barcelona train service, it mightn’t be the best way to get rid of him – but a fair bunch are happy to wait for him to rediscover his form, grateful as they all are for his work 2 and 3 years ago, when he almost single-handedly renewed optimism at the Camp Nou. I also reckon that if Rijkaard does leave, it might signal a fresh start for Dinho.
