Veron can play beside Mascherano , so you create a fantastic defending-attackind middfield duo in the centre and Veron can distribute fantastic short and long passes to the wingers (Di Maria-Gutierez) to the trequrtista(Aimar) and also long accurate passes to Higuain,Messi . So..i believe that a system 3-5-2 (with Gutierez and Di Maria at the wings-Veron and Mascherano at the centre and Aimar in front of them ) would create an explosive combination :) I don't think why Argentina with so much attacking talent should waste it by putting 4 defenders, while the two wingers can also play the defending role at both sides of the field .
