Absolutely not. Not a chance in hell. If it happens, I'll sell my farm in rural Wales and buy a big shotgun to blow my own head off. It won't happen. You want to know why? 4 reasons. They are - Chelsea, Liverpool, Man U and Arsenal. Chelsea have the cash (and being based in London) the power to attract top players. Man U are an institution. An absolute beast of a club that will not finish outside the top 3 in the next 3 seasons. Arsenal have the best young players coming through. Couple that with being based in London and having the cash to still get top players. That leaves Liverpool. As a Liverpool fan, its hard to digest but the reds are the only team Newcastle could catch. But. When you add the fact that they, themselves, have a massive budget and arguably one of the best managers around - I don't think they could even catch them. So. No it won't happen. PS. I don't even own a farm in rural Wales but I would buy one, then sell it in order to buy the shotgun to blow my head off.
