OK, you can never write them off but look at the age profile of that squad! Midfield looks distinctly average except for Kaka and even he has dropped off in the past 2 seasons. And up-front? Nothing that would worry most quality defences. In fact, it’s in defence that Brazil look most impressive and maybe that will give them the base to build from…..but if they win the WC it will be down to poor opposition. Spain trumps that squad in almost every position with the exception of full-backs. calvin forbes 17 May, 2010 dunga is crazy. ronaldino is simply the best midfielder brazil have at the moment even though he is still not at his best. the coach is crazy to left him out water 18 May, 2010 where alexandre pato??? rodney forbes 20 May, 2010 Hi coach Dunga, i am a Jamaican and i am a avid fan of brazilian football they are my sid efor the past 19 yrs. I want to tell you that your defence is okay apart from alex who have a lot of experience. mid field i am ver y sceptical of the fact that Diego and new talent Ganso, Inca n Neymar is missing, you need to give us some more incite on why these player are missing. To, Ronaldinho very excellent play maker but he need to be more of a team player and play within the team and support the other, if he is consider; good player to have on the bench.Up front, you have too much faith in Robinho, i think he play well in Brazil however fail in bigger matches,Pato is injured but i think Adriano could be a wise choice isaac 21 May, 2010 Dunga should hide his pride and call ronaldinho. mukalazi juma 21 May, 2010 Too weak a squqrd, no matter Dunga will leave so soon sherwin 23 May, 2010 adriano pato an ronaldinho should be on the squad dunga is not managing the team right am sure that all our fans are disappointed of the dicisions he made Carioca 24 May, 2010 Adriano and Ronaldinho are both a pain in the ass for their teams and coaches (and fans). Does anyone follow soccer or just highlights? I lived in Brazil for many years and what Brasilians want and whats best for the team has never been a match… Leads to great talk over a chopinho. Dunga was the captain in 94. I think he understands what a team needs to win a tournament. Remember, if anyone has even ever played, this is tournamnet play not league play. We cant afford for supertars to choke like 2008 or have off days, thanks Ronaldo. We need the players playing their best right now, not just the best players. Carioca 24 May, 2010 *2006 Carioca 24 May, 2010 *06 Carioca 24 May, 2010 *2006, who wants to remember anyway! Gabriel 25 May, 2010 Squad is highly pressurized many people who watching the Samba soccer,it is very fantastic to seen Brazil team in lifting again the world cup in south Africa Pls Dunga Re think again Dihno Gabriel 25 May, 2010 No Dihno no Samba soccer, where is this guy?Dung a we need this Player to appear in your team, We wish you best of Luck. Avraj Singh Sagoo 25 May, 2010 i hate dunga now cause he has left out ronaldinho a 2 time best player in the world is he insane its only because of him milan were taken to secon and finished third or else they would be 9th or 10th under juvu shame i have stopped even watching the world cup proving that if action that can be like these its pointless N Pato is shit as shit he is always injured he gets clear through balls from ronnie clear opening goals 4rom close range the he hits it sky high like sedorf beks borrielo n i dont wanna talk abt inzaghi embareesment kicks players 2 appearences through the season but if dunga brings ronaldinho all is good dunga says the whole team is ignored when ronnie is on the pirtch duh Hussain 27 May, 2010 its a big mistake to drop such a brilliant player Ronaldinho.. we wish tht ronaldinho play again for brazil.. shame on Dunga he drop ronaldinho (heart) of brazil.. S.Hussain 27 May, 2010 I agree to Avraj Singh Sagoo.. Nigel D Silva 27 May, 2010 Lets give Dunga a break, being a master at his game and winning the cup as captain Im sure he does know what is best for the team. Although I personally would have Alex in the playing squad on the merit of his recent club form and Ronnie of course. But unfortunately there seems to be a slip between the cup and the lip and guess that Dunga wants a performing TEAM not individualism to enable the Salecao’s to lift the cup. Brazil always starts as my favourite in any world cup no matter what team they will play. Just gotta wait and watch have a feeling that this cup will be decided by the defenders…the strongest will prevail…. subegh singh 27 May, 2010 CAN U GIVE ME JUST ONE REASON WHY RONALDINIO IS NOT PLAYING Howard 27 May, 2010 Dunga: I am really concerned that Ronaldino and Diego is not in your squad… They are two valuable players that i strongly believe should be a part of any Brazilian team at this time. Nevertheless you are the coach and you know what i dont know, all the best and i look forward for BRAZIL to be world champions on July 11. samjid newaz 30 May, 2010 yes i am little bit upset for absence of ronaldhino and pato but i am stile believe that this team has the ability to win the world cup 2010 NJ W 31 May, 2010 Adriano and ronaldinho should be included in the squad. Smmjnr74 31 May, 2010 I love soccer and i love Brazil, I, like any other Brazil fan, wish Brazil their good luck. but hey one thing Dunga icant firget to to say. Why have you left out DInho? We as the brazil fans, we have a right to know the reasons why Ronaldinho is not in the squad. Dihno is not as bad as you think he is. In fact he is now at the best of his form so why living him behind? Please consider him back in the squad. Which national team in the world would afford to live dinho out of such a tournament Dunga? Please , Please dont play a hate game. Mario 3 June, 2010 I am very sad to hear that the two time world player of the year (Ronaldinho) has been left out of the squad and still fail to understand why. Although still believe brazil have the ability to take this WC, best of luck to them. What the ell ? 6 June, 2010 Spain can’t even touch Brazil. Look at them, won eurocup. Lost against USA hjahahaha. European football is not even close to America’s football. South America in particular. Argentina can kick Spain back and Brazil can kick both. What the ell ? 6 June, 2010 Something more. Pelé never was protected in Brazil, yet, he holds ALL THE RECORDS for brazilians and for the WORLD. That’s why he was, still and will always be the greatest. Only record he does not have is the most scorer in WC, wich is… FROM RONALDO. Hey, another Brazilian! And i still don’t get why people try to compare Maradona, who does not hold ANY SPECIAL RECORD IN ARGENTINA, EVEN LESS IN THE WORLD. Shimit Mathur 8 June, 2010 Hey, anybody remembers Louis Ronaldo “The Legend” of brazil football team. Where is he..?Dunga what the hell you are doing…you did’nt called up ROnaldo..r u insane…r u idiot…and u all commenters…u r discussing abt ronaldinho and adriano…but u forgot RONALDO….how u all can do that…this was supposed to be his last worldcup….but he did’nt got even a chance to prove himself again…..please DUNGA if u r reading this comment…plz call RONALDO…cz he’ll nt be able to play after this…he still plays like a LEGEND…!! Ahmed Umair 8 June, 2010 when was the last time you saw him play shimit? ronaldo has gained weight and he is considered over-weight. that is why he was left out from the squad. after all, he said it himself that he wouldn’t call himself for the world cup last year (http://soccerlens.com/ronaldo-i-wouldnt-call-myself-up-to-the-world-cup-squad/37017/) abhishek dattani 10 June, 2010 call ronaldinho hes the simply best abhishek mitra 13 June, 2010 As i am a avid fan of brazil right from my childhood i think dunga has picked the best squad & definitely brazil will win 6th world cup title & 1st team to win in every continent.Look out for 11th july lucio withthe trophy. SELVAM 17 June, 2010 HEY, DUNGA YOU ARE MAKING BIG MISTAKE BY DROPPING MY FAVOURITE PLAYER THAT FOR SURE……. I THE WHOLE WORLD WANT TO SEE HIM HIS SILKY SKILLS BUT YOU ARE UNFOURNATELY LEFT HIM OUFROM THE BRAZIL SQUAD. RONALDINHO IS ONE OF FINE PLAYER NOW PEOPLE LIKE ME HARD TO SEE HIM ACTION: HE IS VERY CREATIVE PLAYER Ram 20 June, 2010 hi..i would just like to hope Brazil the best in this world cup..i’m just sad not to see Ronaldinho in this squad..good luck coach Dunga.. SUNNY 24 June, 2010 I JUST HATE DUNGA. “RONALDINHO” IS THE HEART OF BRAZILIAN FOOTBALL STILL NOW. DO U KNOW WHY HE IS OUT OF THE SQUAD? THAT IS BECAUSE OF DUNGA. ISN’T IT? bharat 27 June, 2010 dunga inculsion or exclusion does not spell right but the final verdict will be spain anna beck 28 June, 2010 Brazil a d best in soccer, no apologies n one has to give them their props.
