Johan Elmander has completed his switch to Premier League side Bolton Wanderers. The Swedish international has been a transfer target for many other clubs including the Spurs.

The Trotters have struck a deal with French club Toulose for an undisclosed fee to sign Johan Elmander. The Swedish striker has signed a contract which will see him in Reebok Stadium for three-years. The deal will also see Norwegian winger Daniel Braaten join Toulose as a part exchange offer.

Bolton’s official website have confirmed the deal.

Gary Megson, their manager stated that he is a keen admirer of Elmander.

“Johan is a player I have admired for a long time.

“He’s a player who will get us goals and also create other opportunities for his team-mates.”

Elmander had been a first team regular in the Swedish international side featuring in all three games in the Euro 2008.
