Arsenal fans feared the worst after hearing the news that star midfielder Mesut Ozil was withdrawn shortly before the end of Germany’s 5-3 win over Sweden in the World Cup Qualifiers but it seems the injury is not bad as feared.
Ozil, who produced yet another brilliant performance bagging goal and assist, was forced off in the 87th minute with an apparent knee injury. There were fears that he might miss Arsenal’s next Premier League encounter with Norwich City, but according to reports from Bild, it was nothing more than minor bruising and should be able to play.
The German star, who turned 25, on Wednesday, celebrated with his family, posted a picture of him standing in front of his birthday presents. He Tweeted:

Ozil has made a great impact since joining the Gunners on the transfer deadline day from Real Madrid. Arsenal sitting top of the table along with Liverpool will take on Norwich on Saturday at the Emirates.
