Birmingham City Home Kit 07/08

Birmingham City Home Kit 07/08

I really like the new Birmingham City 2007/2008 home shirt - it’s a refreshing departure from the current blue (or white) kits and the shirt design (by Umbro) is stylish and distinctive.

According to the EPL Talk Blog (I couldn’t be arsed to check myself) the new Birmingham City home kit design is a throwback to the 70s, where the Birmingham City boys wore a very similar shirt from 1971 to 1976 (see for yourself here).

Umbro have done well so far in the new kits department - I liked the Everton and Sunderland kits as well.

Overall, the 2007/2008 Birmingham City home shirt is probably one of the best new home kits that we’ll see next season, although I’m guessing that for teams that have white away kits (there are several of those) a trip to Birmingham City will require changing into their third kits.

You can buy the Birmingham City 07/08 home kit here.

This is a distinctly Birmingham design. It makes your club’s kit look different to the likes of Everton, Ipswich etc. and could only belong to Brum. Embrace it.

  13. GOOD JERSEY..
