Best Goalkeeper in Euro 2008 is…?
John Stevanja has profiled the 16 teams going to Euro 2008, taken a good, hard look at their goalkeepers and come up with a list of the best keepers on display in Austria - Switzerland this summer, categorised by their starting group.
It’s between Buffon and Casillas in my view, what do you guys think?

King Artur Boruc (Celtic)is my choice. He will be the one to stop Germany in Group B.
Poland have also Kuszczak (2nd choice in Man Utd) and Fabianski (now 2nd choice in Arsenal).
I think that only Spain might have better goalies in this tournament.
I think veteran goalie Van der Sar will tipped the shine in Euro 2008
all the goallies are good but above all of CECH will be my best man in euro

It is buffon for me, anyway cech is also the right nominee. Casillas, eventhough good but not lucky.
I’m gonna say right now Casillas is the best in the world.
Cech was the best in the world before his head injury and Buffon was the best before that.
those three are the top in the world and at any moment one could be in better form.
Cech’s in a slight disadvantage cause he has a slightly weaker team (age-ing defence) so he may be exposed, but he was impressive for chelsea in the last month.

artur boruc hands down shame he has prob 1 of the weakest teams in the euro come on the celts

Cech was amazing, I think he’s just not the same after his injury, and who can blame him. He’s still top 10, just not top 3 in my opinion.
I think Cyril Cloakerton is by far the best. Pity his team are rubbish though. COME ON YOU CLOAKERTON!

Came off it. Everyones tell yours goalkeepers are the best, but i must agree that boruc is incredible
Like for me, before EURO2008 Boruc was one of the best goalkeepers in the world. After - no doubtely, he proved he is the best (see Broox’s comment). For many of you he is less known as he plays for Celtic not for Real or Chelsea, but it will change soon…

the weakest team on euro is Poland no doubt, but becuz of our goal keeper and thanks to him we didn’t lose 231321 goals but just a few.
im sure that after this euro u will hear more about him considering the fact that he plays in celtic atm.
Artur Boruc is by far the BEST goalie of the tournament. Perhaps even one of the best in the world. Cech didn’t show a lot this Euro but I don’t blame him because of those injuries. Also, Buffon is amazing. The top 3 Boruc & Buffon (the same level) and Coupe.
