Liverpool have been linked with a move for the Leicester City left-back Ben Chilwell this summer.

The Reds desperately need to sign another left back in order to replace Alberto Moreno and the highly talented Premier League starlet has been identified as the ideal replacement.

Moreno has failed to impress with his defensive abilities ever since he joined the Reds and is likely to be replaced as Liverpool’s first choice left back this summer. The Spaniard was one of the major reasons why Liverpool struggled to deal with Sevilla in the Europa League final earlier this week.

Chilwell has attracted a lot of interest from several Premier League clubs such as Arsenal and Liverpool after his splendid performances on loan at Huddersfield.

David Wagner, the Huddersfield manager was very impressed with Chilwell and urged Klopp to sign the English left-back this summer. Klopp and Wagner are close friends and worked together at Borussia Dortmund.

Chilwell is a natural leader and would add some vital qualities to Liverpool’s full-back position. He has a superb left-foot delivery and covers the centre-back well because of his good positional sense. The player is also good in possession and has good close control.

According to Goal.com, Chilwell could join Liverpool for as little as 3 million pounds.

Although Arsenal are seriously interested in his services, the player has informed Leicester City that he prefers a move to Liverpool.

Klopp is also close to finalising moves for Gotze, Zielinski, and Karius.
