Bayern Munich Keen On Maccabi Haifa Youngster Eyal Golasa

Bayern Munich are closely monitoring the movements of highly rated Maccabi Haifa youngster Eyal Golasa, According to a report in German newspaper Bild.

The 18-year-old midfielder impressed scouts of the Bavarian powerhouse with a number of outstanding performances during Haifa’s Champions League campaign and Bayern are reportedly keen to add Golasa to their squad in the summer of 2010.

The promising youngster’s current Maccabi Haifa deal is due to expire next year, meaning that he could leave the Israeli powerhouse on a Bosman move if no new deal is agreed.

However, the report suggests that Bayern Munich are facing stiff competition in the race for Golasa’s signature. Borussia Dortmund, Hoffenheim and Bayer Leverkusen are keeping tabs on the midfielder, too.
