Football Manager 2016 is set for official launch later today and for an avid fan of the game like me, it is time to kiss my social life goodbye.

Football Manager is easily the closest thing to the real job and the new set of features introduced in this version of the game is already earning rave reviews.

For some Football Manager is a refreshing escape from their daily schedule, for others it is all about building a dynasty with their favourite clubs and preferred footballers.

Now if you happen to support a club backed by a sugar daddy, this post might not be of great interest to you. But should you aim to build a sustainable side on a low budget your best bet is to invest in youth and free agents.

Alternatively you can also monitor contract situations and sign players on loan/for a low price if they are nearing the end of their contract.

Here at Soccerlens we bring a list of eleven signings that will not do any damage to your wallet and help you put together a world class lineup for the future.

Timo Horn – The young Koln keeper has a low asking price and you can sign yourself a world class keeper for over a decade for about 7 million pounds.

Mattia De Sciglio – The AC Milan right back won’t do much damage to your wallet because of his contract situation and could provide reliable cover on the right side of your defence for years to come.

Emmanuel Mammana – This Argentine centre back from River Plate is one of the most amazing bargains you will pick up. The 19 year old will cost you around 1.5 million pounds and grow into a definite world beater with game time and coaching.

Daniele Rugani – The Juventus youngster is destined to be one of the best defenders around, not just in the game but in real life as well. Rugani is available on loan at the start of your save. Make sure you snap him up on a 2 year loan deal for peanuts.

Eder Alvarez Balanta – No Football Manager list is complete without this in game legend. The Colombian is versatile, talented, young and most importantly cheap. You can use him as a left back or a left sided centre back. Balanta is likely to cost you below 5 million pounds.

Lucas Romero – Another South American wonderkid, Romero from Velez is available for 3.5 million pounds at the start of the game and is a must for any side. Romero grows into a complete midfielder good enough to run the show for clubs like Real Madrid.

Axel Witsel – The Belgian midfielder is available for around 7 million pounds because of his contract situation. If you want a midfield general with abundance of quality and plenty of experience, Witsel is the man to run your show and guide your youngsters.

Andrija Zivkovic – The Partizan winger is up for grabs for less than a million pounds and will develop into a handy versatile wide player for you.

Anwar El Ghazi – The pacey and agile Ajax winger has a five star potential and is up for grabs at 8 million pounds. If you need goals, creativity or simply an outlet on your right wing, El Ghazi is your man.

Angel Correa – The Atletico Madrid sensation is available on loan at the start of the game and will serve you well as an inside forward, attacking midfielder or a shadow striker.

Gabriel Barbosa – Gabigol is one of the best talents in the game. If you are looking for a striker, look no further than the Santos youngster. The Brazilian is available for 6 million pounds and can play anywhere across a front three. Gabigol will grow into a 50-60 goal striker without a doubt.
