One of our favorite WAGs and currently the Babe of the Month, Sylvie van der Vaart was diagnosed with breast cancer in May this year. Fortunately, it was caught in its early stages and operated before it could spread. Doctors had assured her that she would make a full recovery. Sylvie and her husband Rafael van der Vaart spent this difficult time in private.

The Dutch model and TV personality Sylvie van der Vaart is the Babe of the Month of October 2009. She has been handed over the title by Radka Kocurova. Sylvie is the wife of the Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart. They have been married since 2005 and have a son, Damian, in 2006.

Sylvie is one of the few WAGs who haven’t cashed in on their husband’s fame. Then again, her name is not Danielle Lloyd. Rafael is a lucky man to have a wife as hot as Sylvie because I think Sylvie can do way better than him.

As the name suggests, Sylvie van der Vaart is the wife of the former Ajax attacking midfielder Rafael van der Vaart (Real Madrid, Netherlands) since 2005. They have a son named Damian Rafael. Sylvie is a Dutch model, actress and presenter. She has also introduced the jewelry line called Pure by Sylvie and she hosted the FIFA World Player of the Year 2008 ceremony.

Sylvie was elected Holland’s Sexiest Female in 2003 and in the same year, she hooked up with Rafael and soon they became Holland’s most famous ’soccer couple’. Their wedding was shown live on TV in 2005.

Sylvia van der Vaart had a long and illustrious career as a model and television personality way before she met the Ajax’s Rafael van der Vaart (should I mentioned that happened in 2003 after she was voted Holland’s sexiest female? Nah of course that had nothing to do with it).

They soon became the Holland’s golden couple (think Beckhams but in Dutch) and their wedding in 2005 was broadcast live.

Rafael is signed by HSV and the couple is the new media darling of the German press.

Sylvia was voted as Miss Bundesliga (well that is not really surprising just look at her). Sylvia gave birth to their son Damien just before the World Cup in Germany.
