Claire Merry – Henry’s ex is one expensive babe
Claire Merry is an English model who met the legendary former Arsenal striker Thierry Henry (FC Barcelona, France) while shooting an advert for Renault in 2001 and became his wife in 2003. But when Henry was allegedly “shacking” a make-up artist, he had to pay a massive £10 million (almost) for the divorce settlement.
Henry was the one playing hard to make every single buck but Claire sure took as much as she could. Even though, football is probably just kicking a ball around for Claire.
They have a daughter, Téa. Henry dedicated his first goal after Téa’s birth by holding his fingers in a ‘T’ shape and kissing them while celebrating the goal against Newcastle United. Their separation occurred shortly after his transfer to the Spanish giants FC Barcelona.
