From then on, enthusiasm became a passion, and passion eventually lead to the creation of his mCalcio.com Soccer Blog in July 2007. Eventually, fate brought Marco Pantanella to write for Soccerlens, and a new Serie A-reporting dynasty was born. :) On top being the Chief Editor and a regular writer for Soccerlens, Marco is also responsible for many of the artwork pictures you see on the website. Giuseppe Rossi Profile: La Liga ‘Loca’ over ex-Manchester United striker
They called him “Joe Red” during his time at Manchester United. Villareal still have to come up with a nickname for the young Italian, but Giuseppe Rossi just can’t stop scoring in La Liga: the ex-Red Devil striker produced yet another tally this week-end. And what a goal that was.
A Taste of the Rossoneri Fury: AC Milan Atomizes Lazio!
One, two, three, four, five. Five is the magic number Milan needed to rise from its ashes. Five like the five senses. Five like the number of petals in a rose. Five like Emerson’s shirt number, and before him Billy Costacurta. Five like the number of hours it took Massimo Oddo to prepare his new…
Inter Milan ‘Cruzing’ in the Serie A
Win, win, win… and win again. Inter’s march in Serie A seems to be stuck in high gear, as the Nerazzurri obtained yet another 3 points in their quest for a Scudetto renewal. To pay the price this time were Edy Reja’s Napoli, who despite coming back late into the 2nd half with a Roberto…

Lazio almost beat Real Madrid as Milan fail against Celtic
We’re deep into the depression era at AC Milan: three consecutive draws in Serie A… then the first defeat at the hands of Palermo… and then another draw vs. Catania this week-end… the only competition which remained without blemishes for the Rossoneri was the Champions League. After tonight’s defeat vs. Celtic, another milestone has been…

On that night, after beating United 2-1 at the Stadio Olimpico in the first leg, Roma confidently travelled to Old Trafford with the conviction that qualification to the CL semi-finals…

Some might think it would be hasty to make such an assessment so early into the season (after all, European leagues have only begun for a month or two) but it is interesting nonetheless to have a preliminary look at how some of this Summer’s signings are performing. Indeed, some managers (such as Sir Alex…
