Mad, I agree with your point but still felt it was vital that Utd didn't lose further ground this weekend. I think there comes a point where the gap can get psychological. If can afford to drop very few points every game becomes a pressure game and this can be a factor. But you're right. If Utd don't lose any ground next week they will have played 6 home games and 8 away. their away list will read: Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Villa, City, Everton, Portsmouth and Blackburn and by any standards that is a difficult list of matches out of the way and has to be worth a few points on our rivals.
