Hopefully, they can do better than their last big outing when they too easily surrendered and succumbed to lower division Coventry City in the Carling Cup. Each of the players in a United shirt tonight needs to understand that they are playing for their futures. SAF will decide that a number of them are simply not goog enough if they collapse in a heap all over again. Ones to watch: Johnny Evans, Danny Simpson and young Fabian Brandy if he gets a chance to come off the bench. This could be an important opportunity for Dong if he gets a run out as substitute. Can he cut it? He's 22 and cannot continue forever playing with 17 and 18 year olds in United's reserve side.
