Falcao, who is also a Chelsea target returned from his long term injury yesterday scoring against Arsenal in the Emirates Cup  which ensured Monaco would scrape past the Gunners thanks to the solitary goal. The blues however are expected not to pursue their interest in the former Atletico striker whose evaluation in the transfer market is believed to be at a staggering €60m.

Moreover Jose Mourinho has already brought in Diego Costa from the Rojiblancos for €32m and Stamford Bridge legend Didier Drogba before allowing Romelu Lukaku to move to Everton.
