Arsenal struggling with injuries but Charlton should be an easy 3 points
The injuries list for Arsenal has turned from a defensive nightmare into a striking crisis with Adebayour, Walcott and Baptista definitely out for tonight’s match at the Emirates and RVP a doubt with a knock to his ankle.
That leaves Aliadiere as the only fit striker available, and Wenger has admitted that Henry could be rushed back into service earlier than expected.
Having said that, I don’t think Henry should be brought back. Granted, Arsenal are short of options with Ljunberg injured as well and Hleb a doubt for the game, but Arsenal can play Aliadiere up front in a 4-5-1 and still pull off a win against Pardew’s luckless Charlton.
It is ironic that Pardew should come to the Emirates, having defeated Arsenal with West Ham some time back. He’ll fancy his side’s chances against the Gunners but Charlton have too little in the tank to cause Wenger’s men any trouble, especially since Darren Bent seems to be out with a knee injury.
Charlton would be happy to come out with a point in this game but Arsenal cannot afford to lose any more points, considering that Liverpool are now hitting their stride and Bolton, Portsmouth and Tottenham look to be serious challengers for the 2 remaining Champions League spots as well.
Predicted Arsenal Squad

Soccerlens Prediction: Arsenal 2-0 Charlton. Pardew will have his men fired up for the game but Arsenal have too much class for the Addicks.
- Henry return inspires Arsenal to a 4-0 win over Charlton

- Weekend Preview - Arsenal and Chelsea get the tough games
- Pick 3 survivors out of 5: Fulham, Wigan, Charlton, West Ham & Sheffield United

Dude. Have you watched Arsenal this season? No game ’should be an easy three points’. We are erratic as HELL - losing to pathetic sides by lying down and dying, who go on to lose their next matches i.e Sheffield and West Ham.
I’ll be cheering on the boys though from the sidelines.
