Arsenal quite understandably are one of the busiest clubs in the country and in Europe at the moment to get some deals done on the final day. Having wasted the precious time throughout the summer it is now or never for the Gunners, and so far they have started this frantic day on a positive note.

According to latest reports, Arsenal are have agreed to give Nicklas Bendtner a big pay off which could see him join the Premier League newcomer Crystal Palace. Palace have already signed another Arsenal flop Marouane Chamakh in the summer and could add another Gunners reject in their ranks.

It is understood that the Gunners are closing in to sign Palermo keeper Emiliano Viviano. The club has an able goal-keeper in Wojciech Szczesny, but manager Arsene Wenger feels the needs to add depth to the goal keeping position at the squad.

Bendtner, out of Arsenal picture for two consecutive seasons, plying trades elsewhere on loan, is finally set to end his misery at the club. Although, West Bromwich Albion were looking to sign him up too, but it seems, he is heading to another London club by the end of the day.

The Gunners are trying to land Real Madrid star Mesut Ozil but reports from Spain suggests that the German international is still determined to stay and fight for his places. Though, this tweet from Jan Aage Fjortoft (a reputed journalist) will lift the hopes a little bit.

“ I understand  Ozil wanted to stay at Real. Perez to Ancelotti: – You prefer Ozil or Di Maria? Ancelotti: – Di Maria. Ozil-Camp: Adios!”

Bendtner and Holloway then – Dangerous cocktail on the cards?
