Arsenal need practice games with the Ladies’ team

In the build-up to last night’s Arsenal v Tottenham game, Cesc Fabregas made a cheeky comment (and quite funny at the time) saying that if the Arsenal Ladies team played Tottenham’s first team, “they would do really well. I’m sure they would get a point!”

Despite Tottenham’s late comeback, I wouldn’t disagree with Fabregas – in the form Tottenham have found themselves at the start of the season Fab can be excused for having a dig at their rivals and building up the Ladies team who have dominated the football scene for a long time.

However, maybe Wenger needs to schedule some practice games for his boys with the Ladies team to show them how games are won? I’m sure the experience will do their confidence a world of good, they should get a point at least…

Don’t knock Fabregas – he was right. Tottenham did get a draw against Arsenal ladies.
