The article is well-written and not biased. However Chelsea’s arrogance was adequately exposed when they lost to a non-premiership team! Does this mean that Chelsea does not respect the cup? Come’n Chelsea better style up and own your own illogical arguments! A lot more surprises await Chelsea this season. Just wait and see.

“Arsenal kids” defeated a premiership team(Wigan) 3-0 on tuesday while Chelsea, a premiership team, lost on Wednesday to a championship team using some of their regulars.Who between these two is disrespecting the competition?

Ray Wilkins is a bit short on top in more ways than 1. But none of this is new. The Top 4 have treated this competition the same for years now. In fact Ferguson was the first to throw on the reserves/youth team and took quite a bit of stick for it originally.
As we’ve said before respect is not something we voluntarily give; it is earned. This competition gets the respect it deserves in terms of its standing with fans, managers and players.

Wenger has absolutely the correct approach to this. This is a fourth-rate event, and what better stage to trot out your younger players and let them have at some “first teams.” Good for you Arsene.

Disrespecting the cup is when you put out a team of kids in the 1st round and lose 4-0 to a League 1 side.

If your kids get you to a final and 3 semi-finals in 5 years beating the majority of the Premier League in the process then your doing fantastically well.

Chelsea didn’t look like they “respected” the Carling Cup last night did they and that wa with a team of “seasoned” pros.

Long may Arsenal playing the kids continue. Well done Stevie Bould, Ian Banfield and Liam Brady.
