Arsenal dangerman Van Persie unavailable for United clash
Robin van Persie is set to miss out of one of the most important matches for Arsenal this season against Manchester United at the Emirates.
Arsenal’s Dutch striker, Robin Van Persie, faces a week on the sidelines after suffering a knock in training, but his absence means Togo hitman Emmanuel Adebayor, who bagged the winner at United in September, is being lmay be given the go ahead to start the match.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger is hoping that Van Persie (who has bagged five goals in six games) will be back for the Carling Cup clash with North London rivals Tottenham Hotspur next Wednesday.
