Arsenal to beat Manchester United for French sensation?

Real Sociedad midfielder Antoine Griezmann could be set for a lucrative move to the Premier League, amid interest from nouveau riche French giants Paris St Germain.

The 23-year-old is having a superb campaign in La Liga, having scored 19 times in 42 outings this season.

Griezmann has recently been linked with a £25m move to PSG, but he recently took to Twitter to quash any sort of claims that would be moving to the Parc des Princes this coming summer.

“I want to make clear that despite rumours of a deal with PSG, no contact or decision of this kind have been considered”

This opens the door for both Arsenal and Manchester United who have been keeping their eyes firmly on the Sociedad star.

It is believed that he is high on Arsene Wenger’s wishlist this summer, who admited earlier this month, “we follow him in great detail. That should not come as a surprise because he attracts other clubs as well. But we follow him, he is a known commodity.”

Manchester United too are keen to sign the French star, with chief scout David Friio confirming the club’s interest this month.

  1. Baba wenger, if to say you ”ll do us favour to help us sign a quality player like Antoine Griezmann, actually we will be happy. Up the Gunners. Wenger for real.

  2. Am just watching,i know we shall be linked to each and every player but no one will be brought to the club.Elegible ones according to the history of the club under Wenger, will be free agents or chicken priced players. Therefore, some thing should be done to reclaim the passed glory of the club.Gooner forever.
