Iqnadirshah -

I like the sentiment & i wish i was as optimistic as you. But the fact is the AC Milan ALWAYS raise their game for European match-ups. Another fact is that there's something in the air/water/soil of the San Siro that gets the team to exceed their potential & destroy the opposition. I've seen it happen time & again. You can't make predictions based on their home form. Conversely, Inter Milan last season had an excellent record in the domestic league but were absolute shite when it came time for European glory (anyone remember 5-1?).

Its the way of the San Siro. You can't mess with the San Siro.

Milan may be the kings/gods/rulers of European Football, but looking at the first leg match, I'm not scared for Arsenal. Not scoring a goal was bad, but we didnt concede an away goal either. Anyway Milan's home form has been far from convincing this season.

Wenger only said "If only I could take the Emirates pitch with me",because he knows it's goin to be tougher their.Their is no question about the 'quality' of the pitch. You guys just want to inject any possible excuses as Milan has better chance of winning the game.

I understand a goalless away draw is a good thing in the league etc. But in the CL isn't it a detriment to the team that doesn't score at all away?

Now Arsenal can go through on a 1-1 tie at San Siro because of the weight of an away goal. If Milan can score first they can sit back and defend that goal lead but it is a slightly less comfortable strategy than it would be in different circumstances. If Arsenal score first Milan will have to score twice to ensure victory.

I say good for the Gunners for keeping a clean sheet. With Milan coming out with what will likely be a more open style at home it could play right into Arsenal hands, with passing lanes becoming just a little wider.
