I don't see why Gerrard is blaming Ron was for his involvement in rooney's dismissal. He played badly against Portugal and had a bad penalty during the shoot-out. Ronaldo is a player that is quickly rising in our hearts as the next big thing, now that Figo is getting out, and we sincerely know that there's a hell of a star growing up there. I imagine Cristiano ronaldo 4 years from now, and my god, he will be even more amazing that he is now. So it was painful here in Portugal see him be treated the way he was. And what hurts me most is seeing so many people in England being played by the tabloids. This case is their jackpot for now, but in 1 month the tabloids don't care about this anymore. I sincerely believe the tabloids don't even care for their national team, they believe in money. Cristiano is a gold pot this weeks. We, Portugal supporters, know he dives a lot. We know he does some theatrical stuff in the games. But we also see those moments in our national team, that you see in United: those Cristiano moments that few players can do. Class football moments. Magic moments. He dives? Yes, he does. But hey! We went home with a dive too! Ricardo Carvalho softly touches Henry foot and he makes a perfect dive. Refery fooled. Penalty.
