Alex: I Want To Leave Chelsea

In a classic case of unambiguous come-and-get-me-plea, Chelsea defender Alex has declared that he has no intention of carrying on at the Stamford Bridge under the existing circumstances when he is not guaranteed a starting berth in the team.

Speaking to the British tabloid The Sun, the 26-year old Brazilian international defender said:

“I told Chelsea a few days ago that I wanted to leave. There are many options. But I have to think them through and see if Chelsea will let me leave in January.”

Alex’s place in the Chelsea starting xi is not secure given that the club’s captain John Terry tends to play in the same position. This has have had Alex getting disgruntled with the situation and he has now taken the option of publicly hanging his frustration and hoping for someone to loop him away.

Chelsea manager Luiz Felipe Scolari shouldn’t be too bothered by this declaration as selling Alex should garner some funds which he can then invest to sign a new striker that he has been clamoring for quite some weeks now.

Alex to Arsenal. Perfect fit. Big thuggish center back who can pass the ball fairly well.
