I am an Arsenal fan, but I think that it's great to see AFC Wimbledon doing so well - I'm sure that they will be playing league football soon. It would also be interesting to see what happened if Wimbledon played Milton Keynes in a proper match!

"ar their promotion rivals Hampton and Richmond Borough going goal crazy on the final day of the season,"

Or St. Albans, for that matter...I don't think it's gonna happen. I am fearlessly predicting a W to close out our Blue Square South campaign.

Well done to AFC - heading down to Kingsmeadow on Saturday to see the final game of the season.

Was down about this time last season to cheer on AFC on the Saturday and boo Franchise at the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at Wembley on Sunday. Disappointed that Grimsby couldn't beat them.

In my normal football life, I'm on the board of the United Clydebank Supporters Trust who own Clydebank Football Club. We have an affinity with AFC as the same thing happened to our Club in 2002 when the Scottish League franchised our place to Airdire after the owners had announced plans to relocate the club to Dublin. However we're not doing too badly now either - have secured 2 promotions and are in the second top league in the West Region of the Scottish Juniors (our version of non league football) but as there isn't a pyramid system, we have no route back into the Scottish League.

Anyway best wishes to AFC and looking forward to a party atmosphere on Saturday.

excellent summary. shame on winkelman and coppell - football clubs need to be run by football fans and not businessmen, and the dons are testament to both the success and failure of this.

league football awaits the dons, and hopefully it wont be long before they play the franchise scum.
