This article is out of depth as it seems to be pointing the finger at the players a bit too much.

Even if Ancelotti brought in his whole team then he would still have to work to get them to know each other as team.

With the Felipao situation, you have to look at it from a different point of view. If your boss was doing a poor job running the company, then you would go to the chairman to fix the situation and do what's best for the regular society people who rely on you.

SP- I agree- I would expect to hear more in depth analysis at my local kindergarten. Scolari was sacked because his knowledge of football coaching was a decade or more out of date and he had never used the scientific methods common across europe. This was even more obvious to a team used to the methods used by jose mourinho, who was the antithesis of scolari's run up and down methods.

This was made even more obvious by the almost instant drop in form and confidence when steve clark left at xmas- if you have any doubts look at the relative fortunes of chelsea and west ham after he left. Scolari was on his own for the coaching and it showed almost straight away.

Finally you can look at the immediate impact Guus Hinddink had on the team, within a few weeks he had turned the team round, imagine what would have happened if he was available last summer!

Scolari was sacked because he turned a team of winners into a laughing stock- you cannot blame the players for speaking to the chairman.

What absolute tosh, poor poor reporting. Scolari was out of his depth, had no coaching regime outside of international 'ideas'. Carlo has been learning english for last 7 months... Gareth, your a plum.
