5 Reasons Why You Shouldn’t Hate Juventus
In my eyes, Juventus is the greatest team to have ever graced the pitch. Obviously, this is questionable. But I am on a mission to clear the cheating, horrible and dishonest view people have of the better club from Turin. Now get ready for five hopefully convincing reasons to not hate Juventus….
1. The management has changed since Calciopoli.
Many people have the misconception that Juventus is still managed by the bottom-feeders of Italian football and society like Luciano Moggi and Antonio Giraudo. After the scandal, the management of Juventus was completely overhauled, and almost three quarters of the playing squad was sold to get back the enormous amount of money that had been lost. With a new management, comes a new team.
2. Alessandro Del Piero is still a good player, and it’s not true that half our squad is old.
Alessandro Del Piero is one of the best strikers in the Serie A right now, and I completely don’t understand why he comes under so much fire. Also, Pavel Nedved, Hasan Salihamidzic and the other so-called ‘oldies’ in the squad are still amazing players and contribute greatly to the team’s fortunes.
3. We absolutely DO NOT cheat anymore!
Get it out of your heads, foolish population of the earth! The times of cheating and bribing are long gone ones for the bianconeri, and people should understand that. One thing which angers me is that everyone heard about the Juventus scandal, but noone seemed to care about the 2005 Bundesliga scandal and Man U’s dubious 7-1 victory over Roma.
4. Claudio Ranieri is a good manager.
I agree he wasn’t exactly the most popular person on the planet while at Chelsea, and I don’t know about Valencia, but in his short stint at Parma he brought the club from relegation troubles to competiton for European places, and he revitalised Giuseppe Rossi. At Juventus he has defied the critics by achieving almost certain UCL qualification, when he was expected to get the UEFA Cup with a limited squad following the failure buys of Sergio Almiron and Tiago Mendes.
5. It’s not true that we were bad in the Serie B, we totally destroyed everyone.
People often think that Juventus were bad in the Serie B. This is just a myth created by Juve-haters and bitter Torino fans. Juventus were in control of the Serie B for almost the whole season, even with a 9-point deficit and a reduced squad. Take that, Torino.
Now I’m going to sit back and enjoy life while reading the onslaught of criticism that will undoubtedly follow up in the comments section.
Thanks for reading why you shouldn’t hate the best team ever, and I hope that you won’t anymore. Because, guys, one day we will win the Champions League, Serie A, and Coppa Italia every season. Trust me. Just wait….

4 - you really should think hard before backing ranieri. ‘not bad’ and even ‘good’ does not equal great. He’s better than Grant though, at least he gets some respect.

Much of the hatred goes a long way before calciopoli - that’s just given people ammo.
The only reason you need to hate Juventus: Pavel Nedved. Seriously that guy is the biggest douchebag to strap on cleats.
Not a rational or well-backed up argument, I know, but emotion is so rarely founded on good argumentation.

Chiellini (23) is one of the worlds brightest defensive talents.
Sissoko (23) since moving to Italy has fast become one of the best midfeilders in the entire league.
Palladino (23) Brought into the full italian squad recently, needs more games to reach his potential.
Criscito (21) A bright up and coming defender represented italy sinc eunder 19’s is currently on loan
Giovinco (21) One of the best young italian players, will be rejoining Juve after his loan move. Has the stature of zola and the feet to match.
Im not surprised people hate Juve. After all being natural born winners puts you in the firing line for all those below you.
I agree that Juventus are the best, 1st lets look at the 1st XI Gk BUFFON,try saying he is not one of the best if not the best, CB Chellini young versatile,reliable and ranieri has helped his carear, CB legrotaglie nearly back in the italy setup,never thought he would be here still, FB Salihamidzic graceful and very good anywhere, FB Grygera or Molinaro both not bad,good in their own way, LW Nedved find someone else with his stamina and determination also faithful, CM Zanetti or Nocerino both battlers and team players, CM Sissoko glad liverpool never used him it lowered his price fantastic, RW Camoranesi quality and gifted glad he stayed originally not happy with him but he is back to his best, ST Del Piero Captain and Strength of the team even when ranieri dropped him he showed him why he is the symbol, and ST Trezeguet class every club would love to have him. 2nd they often pick players that play for the team not just them selves. 3rd good youth team, 4th the help other teams,just look for players they loan out and half own. When ever italy have won the world cup the squad is very juventus orientated, 5th very italian squad, 6th very pationate and proud fans, please argue with that.

Sebastian Giovinco, loaned to Empoli, may be going to Palermo if the deal for Amauri is finalized. As you noted, he is a great young talent.

Reason 6: No other club, arguably, could have convinced Gigi Buffon, Camoranesi, Del Piero, Nedved, and Trezeguet to play in the second division. Few players of their stature would have contemplated and/or ultimately endured such a thing.

I’ve always had a soft spot for the Old Lady, but my faith was destroyed after the scandal. This is a good post, and it makes me think it’s about time I got back with it.
