Lehmann's going next season(or even before that). Almunia will get two more years at the most i think. Then its going to be Fabiansky or Mannone. But yes Almunia played the best game of his career till now..........

Comments 4 & 5 -

Agree with them both completely. I wonder what Wenger's gonna do with Almunia come the end of the season. He's been a revelation in terms of form, despite the odd silly mistake he's still prone to (but i suppose Cech taught us all that even the best can look real stupid!).

As for the weekend matchup, i just wish it was Mourinho & not Grant takin the pounding. Would have liked to have seen his face...

Every Gooner understands what Fabregas was trying to do, he was only trying to connect well enough so that Cashley Hole would get hurt in the worst possible way. I forgive him.Not everyone can take every chance that comes their way. It was great to see the players congratulate each other before the ref signalled that the game was over. Mourinho did to us at Highbury 2 seasons back, we gave it back to the Stamford Bridge faithful.............
Label this comment as dirty, unsportsmanlike, filthy............... I give 2 ****s..........

The central midfield combination of Hargreaves & Anderson proves to be too tight and stubborn to break thru~ MOM shd be given to them~ no doubt bout that
as for the Arsenal vs Chelsea match~ great to see RVP back~ but sad to see what happen at the end of the match... both Cole and Fab shd be given a red card for that..

To begin with...what a player anderson is.to control a midfield with a great player like gerrard, is really unbelievable,he actually totally made gerrard invisible and he is only 19.i cant think of what he will become, this game was the first we saw some attacking brilliance from anderson, when he went past 3 players before gerrard grabbed him he got the better of fabregas and now stevie g.not bad for a 19 year old, burst of pace, skill, aggression, vision and unlike scholes, can tackle.i actually think that scholes wont get back into the first eleven.why would fergie want to take bench anderson and stop his development?the arsenal result told us that its a two horse race...chelsea have nothing going forward without drogba and the african cup will make the squad average...man city?
