Chase: Ebanks-Blake is nearly 23, so hardly a youngster.
Also, he was let go by Utd. so he won't be a top star! :)

Joe Lewis is overrated. He has made some silly mistakes this season and conceded soft goals. There is potential there but the England call up was ridiculous and he needs to improve massively if he is to become a Prem player.

Rowe, Naughton and Buckley have a good chance of making it.

Fabian Delph is a class act at Leeds. Great left foot, good technical ability, decent passing range, strong for a sleight build and scores goals.

Ryan Bennett is the best young CB in League 2 and has already represented England at youth level. He is definitely too good for Grimsby and is a player to keep your eye on.

Ben Hamer is a quality Keeper on loan to Brentford from Reading. Has all the attributes to be better than Joe Lewis and could be a Prem player with the right guidance.

Listen out for FEMI ORENUGA at Southend Utd. Record youngest player to play in their first team at 15 and has massive potential.

Other prospects to watch : Gary Madine 18yrs (Carlisle), Medy Elito 18yrs (Colchester), Neal Eardley 20yrs (Oldham), Jonjo Shelvey 16yrs (Charlton Ath.), Sohail Shariff 15yrs (Birmingham).

I agree with the selections there Shaun, all have been getting good reports this season. Particularly in the Championship Mark Beevers is a defender whos impressed me when ive seen him. Still 19 as well and has captained the side. Kevin McDonald at Burnley is another who has shone, and not just in the cup! Joe Garner since returning from injury has also justified his price tag and been banging in goals.

But all in all Its a good selection and ill be looking to see if the ones mentioned do fulfil the promise

Another exciting talent to watch out for is Nathaniel Clyne of Crystal Palace. A young (17) fullback who looks incredibly comfortable at such a young age and with only a handful of appearances to his name.

Good review Shaun. Being in Australia I don't get to see much non-premiership action.

I'll particularly watch out for John-Joe O'Toole's progress. The Republic could do with some promising up-and-coming midfielders.
