Draw your own conclusions – but for the record, in the Ronaldo v Messi or Ronaldo v Torres debates, Ronaldo’s had a better season than anyone else on this list, and if that’s not part of your considerations for judging which is the bette player, surely you’re going to be humble enough to *wait* until either player performs this consistently at this high a level for 2 consecutive seasons (at least) before you start the yelling.

Or not…

It is pointless to say that Ronaldo had a better season than Torres, when for Torres this was his DEBUT season! If Torres had been more season with Liverpool, then ok, comparisons can be made, but, for all the great season Torres had, it is certain that it is his first, and that he will only get better. It is THEN that comparisons can be made.

I wud agree with you that torres has had a good
season but who can tell that he will prosper
    next season.

Regardless of whether it is Torres’ first or 5th season, Ronaldo still had a better season than him.

You can compare season for season regardless. Being a debut season is a good reason for Torres not to hit the heights of Ronaldo but whatever you say, bottom line is ROnldo had a fantastic season and beat pretty much every other player hands down.

for torres’ to be in his first season he is great…. he will only get better, clearly a more seasoned player will be more comfortable, therefore having a better season.

It is a big fallacy 2 say that ronaldo is better than torres.if a player can score 33 goals in is debut, don’t u think it worths commendable.ronaldo as been with man u 4 years & has never exceeded 25 goals.remember what happened io euro 2008 when torres scores the fantastic goal that ends spain’s trophy drought.it is this trophy that torres gave spain that kept spain ahead of other countries in fifa ranking.in short, torres is better than ronaldo.

Medahunsi, Torres was already a great player when he signed for Liverpool, he had learnt his trade and was ready for the Premiership. Ronaldo was young and rough round the edges. There is no way Torres will progress as much as Ronaldo did in 4 seasons.

I agree credit where it is due and all that; Torress is a quality player. But last season, Ronaldo was the best player and that is all that matters really. It’s results not reasons that win awards.
